LIGHTHOUSE COUNSELING SERVICES

At Lighthouse Counseling we are trained by the state of California through UCLA to help families in need. We can offer one on one (individual) help for those struggling with a gambling problem. We use the SODS and the NODS assessment tools to help evaluate the seriouness of the gambling issue. There is also financial aid available through the state to help pay for therapy. We have group therapy available as well.

GROUPS--G.A.P. The GAP group (Gambling Addiction Problem) meets from 7pm to 8:15pm on Monday evenings. The cost is 150$for five sessions (10% off if paid for by the Wed prior at 5pm) the next class starts and goes from Aug 2nd to Aug 30th. We will assess the seriousness of the gambling problem using the S.O.G.S. and N.O.D.S. tools.
T.A.C. The TAC group (Teen Anger Class) also goes for 5 weeks and the charge is 150$for five sessions (10% off if paid for by the Wed prior at 5pm)with a limit of 7 people. It starts on Monday August 2nd from 5:30pm to 6:45pm.

Money must be in by Wednesday 5pm before the first Monday class.

John Lucas has spent seven years running Anger Management classes and is certified by the county of Riverside and is well qualified in working with anger issues. John is also trained in Gambling Addiction and has recently gone through the 30-unit training provided by the state of California in conjunction with UCLA.
